Caffeine - the format is Cocaine Blues with a more mundane addition many of us can relate to. Nearly Always (On My Mind) - Whatever you want it to be about, from the Beloved to your beloved, to your cat or dog.Feng Sui (Or The Highway) - As I like to introduce this song, "I wrote this because I basically was tired of hearing the words Feng Sui"Tune To The Note - The first time I played my Sufi teacher's guitar this song popped out. It was apparently waiting to emerge, like a genie from a bottle.Break Off These Chains - This is one of my favorite songs that I have ever written. The theme is about not letting fear and loss keep us from fully experiencing both the joy and pain that life presents. Other Side Of Love - There is always the "other" side of love. I wanted music that was happy, to talk about these themes, much like Jesse Fuller did with San Francisco Bay Blues.Ireland West Virginia - This really happened to me. The hard part was figuring out how to put it into a song. Second Chance - One of the amazing things to me is how resilient human beings are and how often we are given a second chance to make our lives better and richer. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has helped me over the years to begin to see through ignorance, greed and anger..."flowers growing where it once was hollow".
